The Government of India , as a part of their series to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema, releases a stamp on legendary singer Geeta Dutt ji. Without any group/person canvassing for her name and she being out of the limelight for more than 40 years, it truly shows her talent and popularity that the GOI issued a stamp in her name.
In the year 2006, there was a news about a stamp to be released on her name. We could not confirm whether the stamp was actually released or not, but finally on 100 years of Indian cinema, they have issued one in her name
